This was taken the first day of our Iceland trip while hiking up to a waterfall close to the famous black church. 🇮🇸

When I arrived here the trail just opened again. The snow saved me, because for the past days it was covered in ice and I didn’t carry crampons (which honestly you should invest in when going to Iceland in winter). I made it to the last viewpoint having slipped only once. When I took off my drone in the snow I realised it was extremely difficult capturing the beauty of this canyon in these weather circumstances, but in the end this is the result.

Just can’t get enough of this wild corner of Iceland. 🇮🇸 What a stunning location for a lighthouse!
